UVA Student Chapter Mission:
Connect and build the photonics community at the University of Virginia and the greater Charlottesville area. Provide its members with an opportunity to enhance their knowledge and advance their careers in the field, as well as an environment to share their passion in optics and photonics. Lead outreach activities with the goal of communicating the important role of photonics in modern society to the general public.
